LONG ISLAND, N.Y. — September 1, 2026 — Maron Marvel, a leading national defense firm focusing on mass tort litigation risk management, general liability, environmental law, and commercial litigation, today announced the opening of its new Long Island office, further strengthening the firm’s established presence in the New York metropolitan area. The office will be led by Partner Brian Bergin.

The Long Island office builds upon Maron Marvel’s longstanding experience representing clients in complex litigation throughout New York and the Northeast. The new location enhances the firm’s ability to serve clients across Long Island, New York City and the surrounding region while providing a platform for continued growth in one of the country’s most significant litigation markets.

Bergin, who previously practiced from Maron Marvel’s Jersey City office, has extensive experience defending clients in complex civil litigation, including product liability, toxic tort, premises liability and other high-exposure matters. He represents manufacturers, distributors, property owners and other corporate defendants throughout all phases of litigation, from initial case assessment and discovery through dispositive motions, settlement and trial.
