Wilmington, DE, January 13, 2023 – Maron Marvel Bradley Anderson and Tardy LLC welcomes attorneys David A. Barfield and Victoria Tohovak to the firm’s southern-based offices. David joins our Jackson, Mississippi office in an of counsel role. Victoria is an associate attorney working in our Dallas, Texas office.

David Barfield has a multi-faceted practice with 40 years of experience to draw upon to achieve the best possible results for all his clients. In the area of professional liability litigation, David defends insurance agents and brokers, real estate agents and brokers and attorneys. He also serves as regional trial counsel for several asbestos and silica clients. David has extensive experience handling a wide range of litigation, including premises liability, product liability and commercial general liability, including catastrophic injuries such as quadriplegia, paraplegia, and severe burn cases. He also litigates commercial and residential property claims, insurance coverage matters mass tort and toxic tort cases.

Victoria “Tori” Tuhovak focuses her practice on general liability and negligence-based defense litigation. Tori is a client-centered litigator. She fosters trust and produces favorable outcomes through a combination of clear communication, creative problem-solving, and fierce advocacy. She plans for contingencies, negotiates skillfully, and effectively manages client expectations by thoroughly counseling on the risks and benefits during each phase of litigation. Her experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation provides a strategic vantage point, helping her to tactfully resolve cases.
