While in law school, Tanica became a published author in the Thurgood Marshall Law Journal of Gender Race and Justice entitled: “Loan Shark University: The Financial Prison System of Contracting Student Loan Debt without Competency.” Before joining Maron Marvel, Tanica was staff counsel for a national multi-billion-dollar insurance company representing all adverse claims and lawsuits against the company and its policyholders.
