Pedro Guizar

Pedro Guizar is a dedicated legal professional with experience across civil litigation, appellate matters, and public-sector legal work. His background includes drafting substantive motions, managing discovery responses, and conducting legal research across a range of complex issues, including privacy, antitrust, false advertising, and emerging areas of AI and copyright law. 

Pedro has developed strong legal research and writing skills through his work in private practice and with the Illinois Fourth District Appellate Court, where he served as a judicial extern and drafted appellate opinions and a summary order. His litigation experience also includes preparing motions and discovery responses, analyzing newly enacted legislation, preparing case files, synthesizing evidence, and researching defenses in criminal matters.  

Known for his thoughtful approach to legal analysis and attention to detail, Pedro brings a well-rounded perspective shaped by experience in both private practice and the public sector.
