Michael R. Lobick

Michael R. Lobick is a seasoned defense litigator who has spent his entire career dedicated to resolving toxic tort matters. He has been extensively involved in defending claims in the areas of product liability, toxic tort, and environmental law. He concentrates his practice in defending organizations against claims of personal injuries caused by asbestos.

Over the past 15 years, Michael has represented a wide range of clients from small family businesses to Fortune 500 companies with operations in Pennsylvania or West Virginia. He has managed all aspects of toxic tort cases from the initial filing through trial, including managing a motions practice, depositions, expert witnesses, and client reporting. Over the years, Michael has negotiated the resolution of hundreds of asbestos cases with a number of different local and national plaintiff’s law firms.

Michael understands the complex defense needs of different companies, including product manufacturers and suppliers, contractors, employers, premises owners, as well as friction material manufacturers and users. Using his time-honed negotiation skills, he works to achieve the best possible case resolutions for all his clients.

Before joining Maron Marvel, Michael was a defense attorney with another national law firm. He attended Carnegie Mellon University on a full Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) scholarship.
