Madi Kuperman

Madi Kuperman is an associate with a comprehensive background in complex litigation, insurance coverage, and risk management. She brings a practical, results-driven approach to advising clients and managing multifaceted disputes.

Before joining the firm, Madi worked as a Senior Claims Specialist for a major national insurance carrier, where she managed a diverse portfolio of auto, general liability, and construction matters. She oversaw all aspects of coverage analysis, reserve evaluation, risk-transfer strategy, and stakeholder communication. In that role, she directed litigation strategy, collaborated closely with defense counsel, participated in mediations, and negotiated favorable settlements on behalf of insured clients. She was also selected to serve on a specialized team dedicated to supporting the company’s most prominent and high-value accounts.

Madi earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law, where she served on the University of Illinois Law Review as both a Member and Internet & Symposium Editor. She received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Evidence, completed a judicial externship with Judge Randall B. Rosenbaum of the Illinois Sixth Judicial Circuit Court, served as a Teaching Assistant for Civil Procedure, and worked as a Research Assistant to Professor Michelle Layser. She also earned a Pro Bono Notation in recognition of her commitment to public service.

Madi holds a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Michigan, where she was active in the Michigan Pre-Law Society, Dance Marathon, and completed a study-abroad program at the City University of London.

Combining litigation acumen, insurance-industry insight, and strategic advisory experience, Madi delivers practical counsel and strong advocacy across a range of industries and dispute types.

In her free time, Madi enjoys walking her Bernese Mountain Dog, Stanley, along Lake Michigan and cheering for the Michigan Wolverines.
