Kelly Liang
Associate
Kelly Liang is an associate whose practice focuses on complex litigation and client advocacy across product liability, commercial, and consumer matters. She brings a strong foundation in legal research, motion practice, and client communication developed through diverse experiences in both private practice and public service settings.
Kelly’s litigation experience includes conducting legal research on breach of contract, trade secret, trademark, and healthcare disputes. She has drafted settlement agreements, pleadings, and discovery responses, and supported litigation strategy through case analysis and motion drafting.
As a Civil and Consumer Clinic Associate at SMU Dedman School of Law, Kelly represented clients in consumer protection, landlord-tenant, contract, debt-collection, and fraud disputes under attorney supervision. She worked closely with Mandarin- and Spanish-speaking clients to ensure equitable access to legal support, prepared and presented tenant rights materials, and contributed a public comment to the Supreme Court of Texas regarding rules for licensed legal paraprofessionals.
