Garrett L. Singleton

Garrett Singleton is an associate in the firm’s Dallas office, where he represents clients in a broad range of civil litigation matters. His practice is informed by experience defending healthcare professionals and organizations in complex litigation, administrative proceedings, and regulatory matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Garrett served as an associate attorney with a Houston-based healthcare defense firm, where he represented physicians and other healthcare providers in civil lawsuits from initial claim through trial. He also defended clients in professional licensing and administrative proceedings, collaborated with healthcare entities on litigation strategy and compliance issues, and managed all aspects of active litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.

Garrett’s legal experience also includes serving as an intern to in-house counsel for a medical group, where he assisted with healthcare litigation, corporate compliance, and risk management initiatives. During law school, he gained additional experience through a family law mediation internship and as a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) participant, preparing federal tax returns for low-income individuals and families.

Before entering the legal profession, Garrett worked as a medical assistant, giving him firsthand insight into the healthcare industry and the operational challenges faced by medical professionals and healthcare organizations.
