Dylan W. McLean

Dylan W. McLean is an experienced litigator who focuses his practice on general liability and mass tort litigation. Drawing on a background in government service and military law, Dylan brings a disciplined and strategic approach to defending complex matters, with significant experience managing high-volume caseloads, developing case strategy, and advocating for clients in the courtroom.

Prior to entering private practice, Dylan served as an Assistant State’s Attorney with the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted complex felony matters and collaborated with agencies across Illinois on investigations and enforcement matters. He previously served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, managing felony cases through all stages of litigation, including pre-trial strategy, discovery, negotiations, and trial advocacy. His experience managing hundreds of matters has strengthened his ability to efficiently assess risk, develop litigation strategies, and navigate complex and sensitive cases.

Dylan also serves as a Brigade Judge Advocate with the Indiana Army National Guard, where he advises military leadership on operational law, investigations, regulatory compliance, and risk management. His military service includes a deployment in support of Operation Joint Guardian in Kosovo, where he served as an Operational and Fiscal Law Attorney.
