Ben’s practice focuses on defending businesses in toxic tort and environmental matters, advising clients on regulatory compliance, and assessing environmental risks in corporate transactions. His experience at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and in private practice enables him to provide advice that is both technically informed and responsive to clients’ practical needs.
Prior to entering private practice, Ben served in a fellowship at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, where he analyzed state and federal drinking water statutes and regulations and advanced per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (“PFAS”) rulemaking efforts through litigation support and policy development.
While in law school, Ben clerked with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, researching Superfund and related procedural issues, and served as a research assistant on FIFRA and TSCA matters. He was a summer associate at an Am Law 100 law firm headquartered in Philadelphia and gained international commercial and transactional experience through an internship in Tokyo, Japan, with a global restaurant company.
