Alyssa P. Fleischman

Alyssa Fleischman defends a variety of clients in cases that involve personal injury, toxic tort, and product liability claims pending in Illinois, one of the country’s most plaintiff-friendly jurisdictions.

In Alyssa’s general liability practice, she concentrates in the areas of construction defect and accidents, construction-related vehicle incidents, and premises liability defense. A significant portion of Alyssa’s practice involves defending manufacturers in product liability cases concerning mass toxic tort cases with a concentration on asbestos claims. She handles all aspects of litigation, including pre-suit preparation, strategy development, motion practice, and written and oral discovery.

Before becoming a defense attorney, Alyssa was an attorney at a plaintiff’s personal injury firm. Her experience on both sides of the aisle has given her useful insight into resolving cases efficiently.

While in law school, she was a member of the Chicago-Kent team which is one of the leading teams in trial advocacy competitions and is consistently ranked among the best in the nation.
